MaIA Scan · Vision API for beauty
Your brand sends the photo. The API returns skin tone and undertone, skin type and condition, hair color and structure — in one call. The same engine behind glam and Men's Market.
Consent required · No facial recognition · In production at Latin America's largest beauty clubs

Every field comes with a value and a confidence. You decide what to show, what to confirm with the customer, and what to feed your product rules.

Why MaIA Scan
Brazilian consumers, across the full range of Brazilian skin tones and hair types — not a mostly white dataset.
The same engine serving Latin America's largest beauty clubs, now inside your brand.
Consent required. Configurable image retention. No facial recognition, no protected-trait inference, no medical diagnosis.
Three model families — color, skin condition and hair structure — retrained with new data and human validation.
MaIA consultant · sales by conversation
The MaIA consultant uses the MaIA Scan profile — skin, hair and preferences — to talk with each person the way a good in-store consultant would: understand what they want, recommend what makes sense from your catalog, and explain why. On WhatsApp, on the product page or inside your app. It is the same technology as the assistant serving glam.
The customer sends a selfie. The consultant builds the profile, recommends products with a direct link to the cart, follows the routine — and says when it's time to restock.
An "Is this product for me?" button on every PDP. The consultant answers with the person's profile: whether it fits, why, and what fits better if it doesn't.
Before deciding, the person asks. After buying, the consultant teaches how to use it, builds the routine and resolves the doubt that would have become a return.
Doubt stalls the purchase. An answer made for that skin, at that moment, removes the doubt on the spot — no waiting for support.
Foundation, concealer, hair color: with a real profile the person gets it right the first time. Fewer exchanges, fewer returns, less frustration.
The consultant recommends what completes the routine — not the priciest item. Cross-sell the customer recognizes as help.
She knows what the customer uses and when it runs out. The reminder arrives before the empty shelf — and before the competitor.
Every conversation becomes signal: recurring doubts, objections, products people ask for that aren't in the catalog, shades that don't exist yet.

Talk about a projectFrequently asked questions
A beauty profile as JSON: skin tone and undertone, skin type, seven Skin Scan metrics (redness, oiliness, texture, pores, spots, hydration and pigmentation), hair color and structure, photo-quality checks and a confidence value for every field.
No. The API does not identify people, does not create biometric templates for identification and does not match faces. It also does not infer protected traits or make medical diagnoses — it is cosmetic analysis for personalization.
A session is one complete analysis call: a required front photo and, optionally, a side photo sent in the same session. Packages are sold by number of sessions, with no monthly fee.
Consent is required before any analysis. Raw-image retention is configurable and structured results are stored with model and pipeline versions. You decide what to show and what to confirm with the customer.
The API is the same for any country; the site and support are in Portuguese, English and Spanish. The model was trained on hundreds of thousands of Brazilian consumer selfies, which makes it uniquely strong for Brazilian and Latin American skin.
